BBC TELEVISION CENTRE PROJECT

These images are a very small "snapshot" of the project I have been working on to capture BBC Television Centre before the programmes and staff go to Salford or W1.  Sadly, it is possible that parts of this iconic building or even all of it, could be demolished once all programmes are relocated. There are currently several thousand images in the archive and growing by the week. I also have included some timelapse films, HDR,  and video clips. I aim to include 360 degree panoramics where suitable along with some Infrared images. The images on here are low res versions of high res originals.

This collection aims to show the gloss and glory of what the BBC does along with the sadness of a building that is closing down.
All images on this page are copyright of Peter Sumpter/BBC News (apart from the black and white images which are on loan although still copyrighted) and cannot be copied or distributed. Specifically, people in the photographs have agreed to do so on the understanding that these images are for an archive of the BBC at TVC and I require ...this goodwill to continue to allow the archive to flourish..
Thank you for your co-operation.

These images are currently on a personal private site with some spare space in order to allow some limited viewing. Images are not tagged deliberately so they don't show up in google searches or similar. This webpage is still developing and further images will be added weekly.

There are some roll over images. Please allow your internet to fully load to see these.
